ABOUT THE ROLE

You will provide telephone, email and other customer service support on behalf of our clients, including:

  • For our restaurant clients, managing/optimising reservations; and

  • Coordinating functions

You will also supervise the team alongside another Team Leader, with the support of our Manager. Including:

  • Ensure communication with our clients is professionally handled

  • Ensure team members uphold all booking policies and directions from our clients

  • Allocate tasks for the day

  • Monitor wage costs

  • Problem solve

  • Monitor systems and processes

  • Complaint resolution

AVAILABILITY

Our service hours are currently 10am-9pm AEST Monday to Saturday and 10am-7pm on Sundays. The Team Leader shifts are generally 945am-545pm. To begin with this is a 25 hour per week part-time role with the vision to move to full time.

The applicant can be located anywhere within Australia.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Sound restaurant experience, preferably including work in hatted venues.

  • Professional communications skills, including a great phone manner.

  • Proficiency with technology, including an aptitude for learning new platforms.

  • Managing reservations using an online system.

  • Experience in functions/events management in the hospitality sector.

  • Experience managing a team

About Phone Bookings Service 

We are a phone answering and administration support service designed specifically for restaurants, servicing Australia wide. Our Australian based and hospitality experienced team prides itself on a very high standard of customer service. We ensure every call is captured to increase revenue and enhance the guest experience. We provide industry specific service including placing reservations, managing floor plans, managing email accounts along with complete functions coordinator services. 

Remuneration:

Negotiated hourly rate + Commissions

(Commissions is 10% is revenue generated after a target is reached)

The sales representative is a subcontractor and required to send weekly invoices. 

Hours:

Starting at 5-10hrs per week with potential to increase.

Duties:

Having a sound understanding of the service offering and how it works to call qualified leads and perform demos to convert to a client.

Calling a qualified list of leads this includes

  • Getting past the gatekeeper

  • Performing a sales call

  • Follow up calls after a sales calls

  • Follow up calls after a demo

Performing demos, this includes

  • Via video call using a powerpoint presentation

  • Presenting the service

  • Answering in depth questions

  • Discussing pricing

  • Converting to a client

Leads will qualified and be added to Hubspot by the Sales Assistant. A qualified lead is a venue which we have called and confirmed they do not have sufficient office support and would benefit from our service.

This role includes minimal admin or data entry. The Sales Assistant will send emails and perform any admin as directed by you. The Sales Assistant will source and qualify venues then add them to Hubspot for you to call.

This is primarily a phone call and video call role.

Requirements:

  • Own computer and phone

  • Proficient in computers and comfortable talking about tech
